In a previous book, the Jesus Generartion, I had shared some things about the Church, who we are, and how we reveal Jesus. In this book we go more in depth in our understanding of the church by discovering the origin of the Church in Christ. For the Apostle Paul said that we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world. Therefore the church was foreordained and predetermined before time. Since this is so, we did not start in the book of Acts nor in the gospel in our look at the church but we went all the way back to the beginning of Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis and started there in our understanding of the church. In order to truly understand the nature and purpose, one must go back to the beginning, so we started in Old Testament and worked our way into the New Testament in our discovery of the church that Jesus founded. This is an amazing adventure into understanding our true purpose and destiny.
